Sarah Tamayo-Perez, FNP-C

Ms. Sarah Tamayo-Perez, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, is passionate about partnering with individuals and families as they navigate their health goals and decisions. 

After completing a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University, she gained clinical experience as an emergency room nurse. She then went on to earn a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. She joined CVMG in 2015 and has since contributed to a range of CVMG community health initiatives. She is passionate about supporting wellness across the lifespan, with special interests in mental health, women’s health, preventative care, and pediatric care.

Ms. Perez views the patient-provider relationship as one of mutual respect and collaboration, approaching the individual patient as a holistic person within a community and family unit. She is committed to integrating her clinical expertise, evidence-based care, and a caring, joyful spirit at each patient encounter.

Outside of her professional role, Sarah and her husband enjoy homeschooling their beautiful children. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, adventuring both near and far, and savoring a warm latte.
