Flu vaccines typically become available in mid-September. Once we have received our flu vaccine doses, patients can make appointments to receive their flu shot.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends staying up to date on all vaccines. The timing of when vaccines are administered is dependent on the patient’s age and health history. To know if you or a family member is up to date on all recommended vaccines, ask your provider or check your patient portal on the healow® app.
Our Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), Doctors of Medicine (MD), Nurse Practitioners (NP), and Physician Assistants (PA) work collaboratively to educate patients on their health and find ways to manage it. Our providers practice preventative medicine and approach their methods using a holistic perspective, focusing on all aspects of the patient’s body, mind, and soul.
The healow® app offers a variety of tools to help keep patients informed and organized. The app provides you with immediate access to your health information, such as your listed allergies, medications, lab orders, and vaccinations. You can schedule appointments and double check dates and times of already scheduled appointments. Additionally, healow ® offers a safe way for you to meet with your provider using their TeleVisit feature. All your health, all the time, at the tips of your fingers.
