Rahmi Mowjood, DO

Your health and well-being are of the utmost importance to Dr. Rahmi Mowjood. While he sees patients of all ages, much of his time is spent in the clinic educating our older patients on long-term care and other issues affecting their health.

After Dr. Mowjood graduated from the Webb Schools in Claremont, California, he received his Bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College in 1994. The following year, Dr. Mowjood was awarded a Rotary Ambassadorial scholarship by Rotary International, sponsored by the Upland Rotary Club, which allowed him to study in London, England. He went on to graduate from Western University of Health Sciences in 2000, and he completed his residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in 2003. Dr.  Mowjood was formerly on the faculty at Western University as an assistant professor of family medicine, before starting Cucamonga Valley Medical Group with Dr. Kyle Smart in 2006.

Dr. Mowjood has spent time in the past covering many Southern California sporting and entertainment events, including events at Angels Stadium.  More recently, he has been active in community outreach programs and finding ways to provide medical relief internationally whenever possible.  Dr. Mowjood has been on staff at San Antonio Regional Hospital where he served on the Ethics Committee and the Family Medicine Committee.

Dr. Mowjood speaks English and Spanish.
