The American Diabetes Association encourages all of us to take “The Big Step Up” against diabetes, especially this month, as November is recognized as American Diabetes Month.
Our team at Cucamonga Valley Medical Group certainly is prepared to help our patients take “The Big Step Up” this month — and beyond.
Diabetes is a constant battle, not only for those diagnosed, but for their loved ones, caregivers, and health care providers. Plenty of challenges await, and sometimes it might be difficult to see the big picture. We’re here to help.
Cucamonga Valley Medical Group has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Diabetes Self-Management Education* and Support. CVMG offers this program to adults 18 and older who are living with diabetes, have been newly diagnosed, have uncontrolled symptoms, or want to make major changes to reduce or eliminate the need for medication.
We’re committed to providing the resources and information necessary to help people live a healthy life through our Diabetes Self-Management Education* and Support Program.
This monthly program and each class series will consist of seven, one-hour sessions that are available in English and Spanish.
The educators are Noé Lopez, FNP-C, Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist and Sabrina Tupuivao, Community Health Educator. Check out our website’s Health and Wellness Resource Center page for more details at https://cvmgdocs.com//health-and-wellness-resource-center/
