Sarah Tamayo-Perez, FNP-C
Raised in the Inland Empire, Ms. Sarah Tamayo-Perez, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, enthusiastically seeks opportunities to positively impact her local community.
As such, she is proud to be a part of the patient-centered team at Cucamonga Valley Medical Group. After completing a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University, she dedicated five years to patient care as an emergency department nurse at San Antonio Regional Hospital. Seeking to nurture both her passion for medicine and her dedication to patient care, Ms. Perez pursued a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty at Frontier Nursing University. She completed her nurse practitioner clinical training at multiple family practices and acute care settings in the Inland Empire. She is a member of the California Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, and the National Catholic Bioethics Center.
Ms. Perez views the patient-provider relationship as one of mutual respect and collaboration. Her goal is to see the individual patient as a holistic person within a community and family unit and to use this perspective to help persons achieve their health goals. She is committed to integrating her clinical expertise, the use of up-to-date medical research, and a caring, joyful spirit at each patient encounter.
