Ayman Fakeh, MD
Ayman Fakeh, MD, has provided care to patients on two continents, and since his arrival in the United States from his native Egypt in 2007, Dr. Fakeh practiced medicine in Pennsylvania and Ohio for 14 years prior to his move to the West Coast.
As part of the Cucamonga Valley Medical Group team at Rancho Cucamonga, Dr. Fakeh considers his patients as “family” and strives to practice what he calls social medicine, which focuses not only on the patient’s health, but other factors such as family, culture and social life.
During his time in Pennsylvania and Ohio, Dr. Fakeh served four and sometimes five generations of patients in the same family. The people he’s treated have ranged in age from a 6-year-old to a centenarian who reached age 102.
Dr. Fakeh received his medical education at the University of Alexandria, Egypt and Victoria College, also in Alexandria, Egypt. He was a Neurosurgery Resident and Department of Neurosurgery Assistant Lecturer at Alexandria University.
His previous experience includes work as a Family Physician with Kaiser Permanente in Hesperia, California; Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh; and practices in East Liverpool, Toronto, and Bergholz, all in Ohio.
Dr. Fakeh is a member of the California State Medical Board and a past member of both the Pennsylvania and Ohio state medical boards. He held memberships in the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the American Medical Association (AMA) as well as the Egyptian Medical Syndicate.
His hobbies include his favorite sport, table tennis, as well as swimming, camping, hiking, soccer and music.
Dr. Fakeh enjoys spending time with his wife Joy Yassa and their three children, Daniel, Rebecca and Joshua as well as other family members who reside in the region.
