Thank You to all Nurses and Nurse Practitioners!

The annual observance of National Nurses Week takes on added significance amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The nation’s dedicated and hard-working nurses always have deserved our appreciation. This year, with the coronavirus impacting the health and lives of people throughout the world, nurses are among those on the front lines of this pandemic.

May 6 through May 12 annually is designated as National Nurses Week throughout the United States. The observance aims to recognize individuals in the nursing field who use their skills to promote the well-being of patients even if it means putting their own health at risk.

The current pandemic has revealed the skills, expertise and caring nurses bring to their jobs on a daily basis.

At Cucamonga Valley Medical Group, we truly appreciate our nurse practitioners for all they do to improve the lives of our patients.

“It’s always very interesting to take care of each and every patient because everyone is different,” said Janet Ursua, Family Nurse Practitioner at CVMG. “Although we see trends, we have to take into account the personal aspect of it. That’s the challenge.”

Nurses and nurse practitioners across the country are meeting that challenge on a daily basis during troubling times, and for that, we say, “Thank you.”
