Maureen Nwaobilor Iwuoha joins Cucamonga Valley Medical Group as a Family Nurse Practitioner, bringing her commitment to exceptional healthcare, education, and advocacy. With roots in Nigeria, Maureen’s nursing journey began in 1991, enriching her practice with vast experience and a global outlook. Relocating to the U.S. in 1995, she advanced her education with a Bachelor’s from the University of Phoenix in 2015 and a Master’s from California Baptist University in 2023, also passing the National Board Exam that October.
Over 25 years, Maureen has held significant roles such as Charge Nurse and UCI MAGNET Hospital Ambassador, leading projects and initiatives focused on supporting the under-represented and under-insured. Her advocacy work is driven by a desire to empower patients to advocate for themselves, bridging knowledge gaps. Beyond her professional life, Maureen enjoys Zumba, quality time with family and friends, and raising her three children. Fluent in English, Igbo, and conversational Spanish, she connects deeply with patients from varied backgrounds. Guided by faith and love for her community, Maureen’s approach to care embodies compassion and empathy, aiming to make every patient feel represented and empowered at CVMG.
